The Watery Eye | Epiphora
This album is more down-tempo and moody than Get This - it might even get you to shed a tear - Epiphora at its best. There are vocals on three of the songs - I'll let you figure out which three.

Get This | Epiphora
Epiphora began in 2000 as a simple experiment with a new drum machine ... Get This is the result of the next four years of work. Each song is instrumental, alternating between acoustic and electronic flavors. Some have fast beat and driving rhythm, while others are soothing, relaxing, and meditative. The most common reaction to Epiphora music is that it sounds not only familiar, but also feels like it belongs on a soundtrack.

"Dan Kirk is a dynamic, creative young musician with a terrific ear and the ability to fuse electronics, the keyboard, and the computer in innovative ways."
- Jordan Rich, WBZ,
"When I first started to listen to this CD, I thought I had put the wrong disc in the player ... it sounded like the soundtrack to a CD game, however, it was the right CD. I love electronic music and this CD fills the bill nicely. For a first effort, it is impressive. I didn't find a unifying theme to Epiphora's CD but I don't think that was his intent. The songs on this CD do have a soundtrack flavor but lack the consistency of a soundtrack album or, say, the feel of Enigma's CDs. The strongest cuts to my ear are the title track Get This, Center in Me, and Seventh Ember. If you like electronic, you might like this. According to his bio, Dan has been playing bass for different bands around the Boston area since 1995. His music experience comes through on this CD."
