"A friend of Alan, an accomplished blues keyboardist who's traveled and played internationally, asked Alan to sing background vocals for a blues CD.
Afterwards, he offered Alan the use of their recording studio and sound engineer to cut a chanting CD. The CD was made in one session, something the engineer likened to how old blues records were made in the Mississippi Delta; one take, that's it. So if the CD has a bit of a non-Indian funky flavor, that's why. It was made in the back of a tattoo and piercing parlor in St. Paul, MN and has served to elevate customers ever since!"
